Let me introduce myself a bit if you don't know me. I am a 15 month old American Pit Bull Terrier who was born in Kansas. I was sold by my breeder at only 5 weeks old, which is way too young! I lived with a family in a motel and was pretty much hidden from the world for the first 4 months of life. You see, in Liberal, Kansas Pit Bull Type dogs are banned, so if I were to be seen I would be killed instantly.

Anyways.. the police called Animal Control and coincidentally they new a lady named Kelley. Kelley doesn't live in the area where Pit Bulls are banned so she will take them and find rescues (mainly in MN) that will take them and adopt them out!
Well Kelley was a bit "un-sure" about taking me because I was a bit older and could have problems, especially since I was really unsocialized.
She felt REALLY bad for me and took me though!! I stayed with her for a month then was off to Minnesota and put in a foster home with Midwest Animal Rescue. After about a month and a half of being in foster care (I was about 7 1/2 months now) with MARS I was adopted to my forever family!
Oh I WAS A BRAT! They loved me though! I now had a big backyard and front yard to play in, two kitty sisters, a big human and little human.
I am now being trained as my little humans Service Dog through 1Boy4Change, how cool is that?
